Well over a year after the launch of the E-Luna, Kinetic Green has now laid out its plans for its product portfolio moving forward. The company has mentioned it will launch three new electric scooters over the next 18 months, with the first model set to make its debut sometime later this year. While the first model will be a family scooter, information regarding the other two products is scarce.

The first model from the company to debut will be a family-scooter
The company has however, mentioned that it has tied up with Italian design house Torino Design, for the upcoming scooters. The company, whose previous clients include the likes of VinFast and Chery, is also expected to design the new Kinetic Green scooters, which will likely mark a major shift in terms of styling from its current lineup.

The family scooter from Kinetic Green is expected to be called the DX
The first model, which will make its debut sometime around the festive season is likely to be a reimagined version of the iconic 2-stroke Kinetic Honda DX, which has been spotted testing previously. Spy images and patent images of the scooter have pointed to styling cues such as a horizontal headlight, and simplistic body panels throughout. Expected to be named the DX, Kinetic has revealed small details about the scooter, including the fact that it will feature a TFT display. The company has also previously stated that battery options for the scooter will range from 1.8 kWh to 3 kWh, and that it will have a top speed of 80 kmph along with “large” underseat storage.

The scooter will feature a hub-mounted electric motor
Other details that were visible in the spy images include a front disc brake and a hub-mounted electric motor, with suspension duties handled by a telescopic fork setup up front and dual shocks at the rear. The scooter also features a thick floorboard – likely housing the battery.
