Alpha Wolf Unveiled At Petersen Museum, Production Planned For 2023

Announced in a rather dubious manner last week, but the Alpha Motor Corporation has actually come through on its promise of showcasing the prototype of the Alpha Wolf, its rather affordable $36,000 electric pickup truck at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles as a part of the exhibit "Alternating Currents: The Fall and Rise of Electric Vehicles." The car will be showcased at the legendary Museum till mid November 2021. It will also have a higher end variant which will cost $46,000.

The pickup is expected to have an estimated range between 402 and 442 kilometres from a lithium-ion battery pack. It will be available in a rear wheel drive and an all-wheel drive model with the latter being capable of 0-100 kmph in 6.2 seconds. The car is said to have some impressive towing capacity as well at 1,360 kg with a truck bed that's 1.83 metres long.

The interior of the car isn't finished by the looks of it though the company has shared renders of the same. It says that it will have a digital speedometer, a digital central display, ergonomically bolstered seating and multi-layered central console storage.

The Alpha Motor Corporation is aiming for release first in the US with production starting at the end of 2023, though the details around manufacturing are unknown. It also expects that the price of its vehicle will go down further thanks to tax incentives and credits. Last week, the company had shared renders of the Alpha Wolf but there was some scepticism around the car.
