Fuel Prices Increase Once Again By Rs. 34 Paise, Petrol Breaches Rs. 107/Litre In Mumbai
Petrol prices have increased by Rs. 31 to 39 paise on July 15, 2021, across the country. Meanwhile, diesel prices have gone up by Rs. 15 to 21 paise.

After a two day break, fuel prices are on an upward trajectory once again across the country. According to the prices shared by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), petrol prices have increased by Rs. 31 to 39 paise. Meanwhile, diesel prices have gone up again dropping by a small margin on July 12, 2021. Diesel prices increased by Rs. 15 to 21 paise across the country. In Mumbai, the cost of petrol has gone up by Rs. 34 paise and retails at Rs. 107.54 per litre. Meanwhile, the diesel prices in the city went up by Rs. 15 paise and stands at Rs. 97.45 per litre.

In the national capital, petrol prices stood at Rs. 101.54 per litre, registering a hike of Rs. 35 paise, while diesel is priced at Rs. 89.89 per litre, a hike of Rs. 15 paise. Prices in Chennai have gone up by Rs. 35 paise and stands at Rs. 102.23 per litre, while diesel stands at Rs. 94.39 per litre, a hike of Rs. 15 paise over the older prices. Meanwhile, Kolkata reported Rs. 101.74 per litre for petrol and Rs. 93.02 per litre for diesel.

Diesel prices are on the upward trend once again after a marginal drop on July 12, 2021

In the last quarter, petrol prices have gone up by Rs. 10.63 in Delhi between April and June, witnessing a growth of 11.73 per cent. On the other hand, diesel prices increased by Rs. 8.85 per in the national capital during the same period. Petrol prices are at the three-digit mark across all major metros in the country, and fuel is the most expensive in Mumbai when compared to other metro cities.
