The sportier character of the car resonates in its design as well giving it an aggressive stance. It features a revised version of the ‘parametric jewel grille’ with smaller jewel-like chrome elements on the grille and a notable mesh pattern visible behind it. The grille also appears wider than on the standard variant with the gloss-finished frame on the sides now also featuring the parametric design elements. The front bumper too has been changed with a new unit featuring a vent in the centre, split skid plate-like elements and red highlights. Coming to its profile, the 16-inch alloy wheels are specific to the N Line with red highlights again visible on the lower doors. Moving to the rear, the Venue N Line gets a roof-mounted spoiler with the lower bumper featuring a different skid plate design to the standard SUV along with a visible dual-tip exhaust with Hyundai claiming that the N Line will feature a sportier exhaust note. Buyers will have three exterior colours to choose from – Polar white, Shadow Grey and Thunder Blue – with the latter only available in dual tone.

On the inside, the cabin gets an all-black treatment compared to the dual-tone colours of the standard Venue. Hyundai has additionally used red accents in multiple paces to add a sporting touch to the design. The Venue N Line will carry over a number of features from the standard subcompact SUV such as drive modes, Blue Link connected car tech and a sunroof though Hyundai has said it will get an additional feature – an on-board dashcam.

The Venue N Line is powered by the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 118 bhp and 172 Nm of peak torque – identical to the standard model. The engine is mated the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Hyundai says that the N Line will also offer a sporty ride and handling courtesy its tweaked suspension set-up. The N Line gets four-wheel disc brakes with the front callipers finished in red to add to the sporty appeal.
