2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6: All You Need To Know

Maruti Suzuki has updated the XL6 premium MPV for the first time since its debut back in 2019. The 6-seater premium version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is refreshed for 2022 with cosmetic updates to the exterior, while the interior receives the addition of a few creature comforts. However, the major change is under the hood, as the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 now features a new 1.5-litre petrol engine, coupled with a new 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Moreover, the company has also updated the safety features of the 2022 XL6. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 now features a revised grille surrounded by chrome garnish.

1. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 is available at a starting price of Rs. 11.29 lakh, going up to Rs. 14.55 lakh (ex-showroom, India), and will be offered in three variants.
2. Visually, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 follows Nexa's ‘Crafted Futurism' design language and is the second model to do so after the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
3. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 now features a revised grille surrounded by chrome garnish and a fresh design for the headlamps with LED treatment.
4. In profile, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 sits on a new pair of 16-inch alloy wheels. The B and C Pillar feature a gloss black finish, as well as a fender side garnish with chrome highlights.
   

   The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 gets a new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system.

7. The updates on the inside of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 are more vital. First and foremost is the addition of ventilated seats, a first for Maruti cars.
8. Another prominent upgrade is the introduction of Maruti's new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system, with connected car tech with over 40+ features.

9. There's also the introduction of a 360-degree parking camera system, Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, and wireless charging.
10. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 receives four airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, as a standard fitment, as well a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
11. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 now features a new 1.5-litre, K15C series, dual jet, dual VVT petrol engine coupled with a mild hybrid motor that develops 103 bhp @6,000 rpm and 136.8 Nm @4,400 rpm.
12. The engine is paired to a new 6-speed torque converter with paddle shifters. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard.

13. Maruti claims the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 returns a fuel efficiency of 20.97 kmpl with the manual version and 20.27 kmpl with the automatic version.
