Hyundai Creta Bookings Open at Dealer Level

Scheduled to launch on July 21, 2015, the Hyundai Creta's bookings have commenced at dealer level. Though the company hasn't officially communicated anything about the pre-launch bookings of the compact SUV. Upon its launch, the vehicle will rival Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. Since the Creta is based on the i20 platform, it will share several of its features and components with the latter. Though in terms of design, it looks more like a mini Santa Fe with similar singular hexagonal radiator grille with three horizontal slats. Other noticeable features are projector head-lamps, vertical fog lamps, black plastic cladding all around the body and roof rails in chrome. Also Read: Hyundai Creta Revealed in Spy Image As far as the engine options are concerned, the Creta will be launched with all the powertrains that do duty on the Hyundai Verna - 1.4-litre petrol & diesel and 1.6-litre petrol & diesel. With 4270mm length, 1780mm width, 1630mm height and 2590mm wheelbase, the Hyundai Creta will offer quite a spacious cabin for 5 passengers along with a decent boot space. The Hyundai Creta is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 8 lakh - Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
