According to reports, within the first 14 months of launch, sales reached 3 lakh units, followed by another 2 lakh units over the next six months. The remaining 5 lakh units were sold over the following 25 months, during which BYD expanded the Atto 3’s availability to more than 100 countries worldwide.
For the Indian market, BYD introduced the 2025 model year update of the Atto 3 in March. This update brought a handful of feature additions, including ventilated front seats, an all-black interior theme, and the addition of a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) auxiliary battery.
