Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal has revealed that it has started rolling out its hypercharger network for electric two-wheelers across India. Ola Electric has just started deliveries of its S1 and S1 pro electric two-wheelers and it is complimenting the launch of its electric two-wheelers with the rollout of a fast-charging network pan India, something that's largely absent in the country. In a tweet, Bhavish Aggarwal revealed that there will be upwards of 4,000 charging points that will be installed at numerous locations including BPCL petrol pumps and even residential complexes.

In addition to this, Aggarwal revealed that these charging stations will become operational by late January and February - he specially outlined a timeline of 6-8 weeks. Interestingly, to sweeten the deal for Ola electric customers, he even said that these chargers will be free for all its customers till the end of June 2022.

"Hypercharger rollout has begun across cities. At key BPCL pumps as well as residential complexes. 4000+ points up through next year. We're installing across India and will make them operational in 6-8 weeks. Will be free for use till end June 22 for all customers," said Bhavish Agarwal, co-founder of Ola electric and Ola Cabs, in a tweet.

Ola Electric has also claimed that it will be building the largest electric two-wheeler factory in the world. Ever since the unveiling of the S1 and S1 pro electric two-wheelers, there are have been some concerns around the delivery times of the scooters. Many people have complained that they have not received their scooters despite pre-bookings. And out of many customers who have received deliveries, there have been a few who have taken to social media to convey their displeasure over quality issues with the electric scooters.
