Bajaj Sells 334 Units of Qute; Gets 1-Star NCAP Rating

Highlights
The other big news is that Qute has received 1 star Euro NCAP ratings. The Quadricycle doesn't have any airbags, ABS and the structure was judged to be unstable in the frontal test. In the side impact, the door on the struck side was detached from the A-pillar as a result of the door structure detaching from the hinges. Remember many popular cars like the Hyundai i10, Maruti Suzuki Alto & Tata Nano had failed the crash test getting a 0 star rating from Euro NCAP. Even other Quadricycle available in Europe like the Axiam & the Ligier IXO JS failed the crash test and were awarded with 1 star rating by the Belgium based automobile crash testing agency.
Bajaj claims a mileage of 36Km/l on its Qute which has helped the company to establish the product in the global markets. Bajaj hopes to sell 1000 units of Qute in the ongoing financial 2016-17.
