In a bid to keep the momentum going in the pre-festive season, Hyundai India is offering discounts and offers on most of its cars except for the top-selling i20. The company is giving benefits up to Rs. 70,000 on its cars under the 'Monsoon Splash Offer'. Interestingly, the company is offering heavy discounts on the Hyundai Verna as well that had received a facelift early this year. Despite the mechanical and cosmetic updates, the Verna couldn't increase its sales and continues to rank third in the mid-sized sedan segment. The top two players in this segment, currently, are Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Just so you know, the company sold only 1,620 units of the Verna - reporting a month-on-month fall of around 24 per cent. Save for the i20 and the Xcent, sales of other Hyundai Cars including Eon, i10, Grand i10 and Elantra were dull in June, 2015.
