Triumph Reveals Prices For Scrambler 400 XC's Tubeless Spoke Wheels

Highlights
- Existing Scrambler 400 X owners can buy tubeless spoke wheels
- The front wheel is priced at Rs 34,876 while the rear costs Rs 36,875
- 1.1 kg heavier than stock; warranty not available for existing Scrambler owners.
Triumph Motorcycle India launched a higher-spec variant of the Scrambler 400 X – the 400 XC – earlier in May 2025. Priced at Rs 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom), the XC comes with some additional kit and tubeless spoke wheels compared to the standard model. The price difference between the two variants is around Rs 27,000, which is not even enough to cover the cost of a single tubeless spoke wheel, if bought separately.

Triumph has now disclosed the individual costs of these tubeless spoke wheels, and they are significantly higher when purchased separately. The front wheel is priced at Rs 34,876, while the rear costs Rs 36,875. These high prices are attributed to the fact that the wheels are imported into India.
The Scrambler 400 XC is one of the few motorcycles manufactured in India to come equipped with factory-fitted tubeless spoke wheels. The only other made-in-India motorcycles currently offering this are the new Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 390 Adventure, and the Goan Classic 350.

While these rims are available for the standard Scrambler 400 X, they add 1.1 kg of weight compared to the stock alloy wheels and are not covered under warranty. Triumph states that the wheels can be directly swapped, but warranty coverage is limited. Only manufacturing defects in the rim are covered; damage including bent rims or run-out issues is excluded from warranty, and the same applies to the spokes.
In related news, Royal Enfield recently revised the pricing of its tubeless spoke wheels to Rs 40,655 for aftermarket buyers. However, prices remain at Rs 11,000 if bought with the motorcycle.
