2021 Honda Amaze Facelift Launch Date Announced; Bookings Open

Honda Cars India is all set to launch the Honda Amaze facelift in the country on August 18, 2021. The Japanese carmaker has officially begun accepting pre-bookings for the Amaze facelift with a token amount of Rs. 21,000. The new Amaze facelift can be booked offline at all authorized Honda dealerships across India. Interested buyers can also book the car online from the comfort of their homes through 'Honda from Home' platform on the official website with an amount of Rs. 5,000.

Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, "Since its debut in 2013, Honda Amaze has won the hearts of more than 4.5 lakh Indian customers making it one of India's most preferred family sedans. We are extremely excited to add another chapter to the success story of the model with the launch of New Amaze later this month. The new Amaze becomes even more premium, stylish and sophisticated. We are approaching the upcoming festive season with a fully refreshed line-up and hope to create fresh excitement in the market."
The Honda Amaze facelift will see the subcompact sedan get a midlife cycle update bringing in enhanced exterior styling and enriched interiors. The facelifted model is likely to get new LED headlamps, tweaked grille and bumper, new alloy wheels, and subtle changes to the rear. On the inside, the sedan is expected to get revised upholstery, a tweaked dashboard layout and a bunch of new features, including a new touchscreen infotainment system, and more.

Under the hood, the Honda Amaze facelift will continue to get the same mechanical options. The 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol is tuned to make 89 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor develops 99 bhp and 200 Nm of power figures. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard along with an optional CVT automatic. It's the only offering in the segment to get a diesel-CVT combination. Do note, the diesel CVT version makes only 79 bhp and 160 Nm.
