Tata Motors has finally launched the QWD variants of the Harrier EV. With this, Tata has effectively revealed the prices for all variants of the SUV. The price reveal comes over three weeks after the SUV’s starting price was revealed. The QWD is solely offered with the top-spec Empowered variant with the 75 kWh battery pack, and it is priced at Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The QWD variant gets a more powerful dual-motor powertrain setup that enables all-wheel drive in the SUV.

The list of features exclusive to the top-spec trim of the Harrier EV QWD includes six terrain modes, a transparent bonnet function for the 360-degree cameras and off-road cruise control. The variants also get a 14.53-inch Neo QLED touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, level 2 ADAS tech, powered and ventilated front seats, 360-degree cameras, remote parking, in-built front and rear dash cams, and JBL Black speakers with Dolby Atmos.

On the powertrain front, the AWD variants of the Harrier EV add a second 156 bhp electric motor to the front axle, taking the combined output to over 300 bhp and 504 Nm of peak torque. For reference, the RWD Harrier EV has a power figure of 235 bhp. While the RWD variant can also be had with a 65 kWh battery pack, the dual-motor variants are solely available with a 75 kWh setup. The claimed range figure for the QWD variants is 622 km, although Tata says that the real-world range figure would be closer to 460 - 490 km.
