Kawasaki has revealed its new 2016 ZX-10R and it comes with a bunch of upgrades and it's a lot more than what you would expect from a facelift.

Kawasaki has revealed its new 2016 ZX-10R and it comes with a bunch of upgrades and it's a lot more than what you would expect from a facelift. At the top of the pyramid of changes is a revised engine, some new electronics, a new instrument cluster, tweaks in the frame with new swing-arm, an Ohlins electronic steering damper and new Brembo brakes. The overall bodywork hasn't changed much and there isn't a vast difference between the new and the predecessor. The front fairing sees some changes and is fuller, hence restyled. The graphics that the bike is wrapped around is a bit overdone and the fairing looks a bit cluttered and busy. The instrument cluster has been changed and it has been now overhauled to show engine braking information, IMU information, launch control settings, power mode used, and even an economy indicator. The instrument cluster automatically changes its brightness based on ambient light. Ninja ZX-10R Powering the Ninja ZX-10R is a 998cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, inline-4, DOHC, 16-valve petrol motor producing 200bhp and 113.5 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. Power is bumped to 207bhp with ram air. Kawasaki claims that the new ZX-10R is the closest any road going Ninja has gotten to their WSBK machine. Ninja ZX-10R Considering that superbikes are becoming quite a rage in India and many manufacturers have brought in their products, Kawasaki will bring this bike to India, when? We'll have to wait and find out.
