The Ioniq 6 N features a two-tone finish to the body with the lower body and rear bumpers finished in gloss black to give it a sportier look. The split headlamp design of the Ioniq 6 facelift is retained though the bumper is a lot more aggressive with oversized vents and a prominent lip spoiler with red accents.

Round the rear, the Ioniq 6 N drops the full width light bar to give it a stealthier finish along with a more aggressive rear bumper with a pronounced diffuser element. The ducktail spoiler is accentuated by a second higher set spoiler bolted to the base of the rear windscreen. The Ioniq 6 N also gets bespoke 20-inch black wheels as standard paired with Pirelli P-Zero tyres developed specifically for the 6 N.

Under the skin Hyundai says it has reworked the Ioniq 6’s chassis replete with a overhauled suspension with a revised geometry to offer improved grip and stability while also reducing roll. The suspension also features electrically controlled dampers allowing ‘for a wide range of damping force adjustments to suit varying driving conditions.’

The cabin remains in line with the standard Ioniq 6 facelift with exclusive detailing including a new N steering and sports front seats. The digital interfaces run N-specific software as well and there are a host of N-specific features as well. N Active Sound+ uses the vehicle’s speakers to pump acceleration noise into the cabin depending on the soundstage selected. The 6 N also gets the N e-shift features from the 5 N simulating gear changes as if in an internal combustion vehicle. Also offered is N Launch Control, N Drift Optimiser and a N Grin Boost function (red button on the steering) that unlocks max power for 10 seconds. The cabin’s ambient lighting also doubles up as a gear shift light for the e-Shift system.

Moving to the powertrain, the Ioniq 6 N retains a dual-motor drivetrain with electric motors at both axles. Peak power sits at 641 bhp with Launch Control engaged which is reduced to 601 bhp during continuous use. Hyundai says that the 6 N is capable of hitting 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 257 kmph. The electric motors are paired with an 84 kWh battery, though range figures have not yet been provided. Stopping power comes via 400 mm discs with four piston calipers up front and 360 mm discs with single piston calipers at the rear.
