2022 Honda Gold Wing Tour Launched In India, Priced At Rs. 39.20 Lakh

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2022 Honda Gold Wing Tour in the country. The 2022 version of the company's flagship model will be retailed via the company's exclusive dealership chain, the Honda BigWing Topline, and bookings for the motorcycle have also commenced. Right now, Honda has only launched the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) version of the 2022 Gold Wing Tour, which will be available in only one colour option - Gunmetal Black Metallic. The motorcycle comes to India as a Completely Built Unit or CBU model and is priced at Rs. 39.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram).

Honda has only launched the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) version of the 2022 Gold Wing Tour
The motorcycle is powered by an 1833 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 24-valve SOHC flat-6 engine that is tuned to produce a peak output of about 125 bhp @ 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 170 Nm @ 4,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to Honda's DCT automatic transmission with creep forward and back function. The Gold Wing Tour is built on a diecast, aluminium twin-beam frame that comes with the double-wishbone front suspension system, Pro-Arm swingarm, and 4 preload settings.

The bike also comes with a suite of electronic aids like - Throttle By Wire (TBW), 4 rider modes (Tour, Sport, Econ & Rain), Cruise Control, Dual Combined Brake System (D-CBS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA). The bike also gets an Idling stop system and an airbag. The bike also gets a 7-inch full-colour TFT Liquid Crystal Display, equipped with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and two USB Type-C ports.

Visually, the bike looks identical to the 2021 model, however, now all the chrome and silver elements, including the engine have been blacked out. The motorcycle comes with full-LED lighting including dual LED fog lights, auto cancelling indicators, and a step-less electrically adjustable windscreen. Other features on offer include - a tyre pressure monitoring system, smart key, 21-litre fuel tanks capacity, lightweight speakers with a passenger audio control switch and more.
