Honda CB Hornet 160R Revealed; Launching Soon

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd that launched its first made-in-India high-performance motorcycle - the CBR650F - on Tuesday, also showcased three other bikes including an all new 160cc one - the CB Hornet 160R - that is likely to replace the CB Trigger in the country. The 'Hornet' is a popular Honda nameplate under which the company sells bikes ranging from 250cc to 900cc in global markets. But for the first time, the company has used this name for such a low capacity motorcycle. Powering the Honda CB Hornet 160R will be a 160cc, single-cylinder engine which is the same unit that does duty on the CB Unicorn. The CB Unicorn's engine churns out a maximum power output of 14.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 14.61Nm of peak torque. The Honda CB Hornet 160R takes its design inspiration from the CX-01 concept that made its debut at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.
